Make sure you wipe them down with the included alcohol wipe, allow to dry completely, the oils from your skin will stick to the bulb,and if powered up,the oils will not allow the heat to dissipate, and cause the bulb to either crack,or fail prematurely. most importaint of all if you are able to, wear some latex/rubber gloves and never touch the bulb bare skin,always try to handle by the housing avoiding the glass part at all costs. Do this you will have a successful install. The yellow on the bulb may look a little light, and it is compared to optilux, but i like the unique shade of yellow, it looks great on my car. You can see clearly where the yellow light is Illuminating, and it is not dim or washed out. I am using these on a 14 subaru legacy and i am happy as a clam with my purchase.. i say, go for it. Keep your old bulbs (if they are still good, and dont touch those either) if you dislike these you still have the old ones safe in the nokya packaging.
