I gave this scope 4 stars for one reason. It has an obstacle on the bottom that I assume has to do with the side objective adjustments. When I tried to mount it on a picatinny rail. That little obstacle hit the rail and could not be leveled properly. I was trying to mount as close to the barrel as possible. Which is the proper way to mount a scope. You could mount with higher mounts to remedy the issue. But I didn't want to do that. There are other ways the problem could be remedied like mill out the rail or change to direct mounts in place of picatinny rail. But gun already had the rail. I just mounted a different scope to the gun with a front adjustable objective. I'll try the Athlon on something else another day. So far I have not used the scope. But it does have very clear glass. Someone complained about the side focusing knob to be stiff. I turned it back and forth full turn several times and it became easier to turn. My guess is there's an o-ring that needed a little break in. So in all it seems to be a nice scope for the money. Just one small design feature that could use changing.Read full review

A stellar deal in a rifle scope. I have several higher end Athlon scopes that I am extremely happy with, so I decided to give the Neos a try. And I'm really glad I did. Super clear for the price, Parallax adjustments are spot on, and it holds zero. I own many other scopes in this price range and most are poor quality, this Neos performs well above its price point. Don't go into it expecting it to be on par with a scope costing 5x as much, and you'll be happy.

My first Athlon was a Cronus which is the top of their line and I couldn't have been happier with it. Then I started collecting .22 rifles for the grandkids. I buy these smaller scopes for rimfire and they work great for that propose. I'm not a big believer in expensive gun - cheap scope. The Athens work great for rimfire, but that's all I use them for.

This is my 2nd Athlon scope. Clear glass and zeros easily, and holds zero. Turrets can be set to zero to easily return to original setting. They’re are more well known and expensive brands, but if I need a third scope it will be an Athlon. Great scope, great price.

Clear glass nicer than low end Leupold, on par with Vortex Diamondback. Turrets have a nice click to them, holds zero on my Creedmoor. Side focus a little stiff. Highly recommend.
