Will Tintin learn who to trust, get to bottom of America's crime, and make it back home?, The classic graphic novel. Tintin comes to the U.S.A. to clean up the mean streets of Chicago but ends up in the wild west Will Tintin make it back home?
Not his greatest story-telling effort, but the art was already fully-realized in this.
Hegre was a great artist but not always a great story teller. He relied a lot on slapstick scenes. In this album, TINTIN IN AMERICA, he jumps from one little vignette to the next a bit randomly. His later production was more uniform, more coherent and mature. Give the one with the word Russia in the title a miss! Not only was he ignorant of world affairs, but the art is also dismal in that one.
