These are the only grinding stones that last longer than an hour, I used 1 for 4 months. If you don't push on them hard and you wear them evenly along the whole stone they last for a long time. I bought some stihls From true value The stones didn't even last through sharpening the chain they were wearing out so quick I Thought they were going to disintegrate in front of my eyes. I expected a little bit more from stihl for the price
