Buy this pump. Don’t buy the whole oem assembly

Exact match to my original 2008 WR250R pump. Just different colors. Find a YouTube video on how to remove and replace pump into original plastic assembly and you’re all set. Did the entire job in one hour with the help of my 12 year old. A second set of hands makes it easy.

  • Top critical review

    Purchased for 2016 TRX500

If you are thinking of buying this pump for a TRX500, I would pass. The pump and the original sending unit housing have to be heavily modified to work. I had to cut the old strainer body to hold the pump in place. There is nothing to keep it mounted to the old housing. Once the pump is pressurized, it will push it out of the housing. Other than that, seems to be good quality. Only time will tell

  • great deal on a great pump

so far this fuel pump has worked really well and it was delivered to me within a few days of ordering it. It fit perfectly and had plenty of extra parts to make sure it would fit right without having to use any existing components like the screen or rubber o-rings,clips,etc. It appears to be well made and should last for a long time. It seems to be quieter in operation and better made than the factory pump which cost several hundred dollars compared to this pump sold for less than forty. there are no cons with this pump but maybe there are nothing but cons selling the kawasaki OEM parts.

  • Kemso fuel pump is a no brainer -

The Kemso fuel pump I got for my 07 Hayabusa was a no brainer decision - it was super affordable - easy to install, plug it in and go! Compared to stock it looks identical except color but It lists a slightly larger pumping capacity - runs great!

  • Time will tell...

On my 2008 WR250R, the pump installed using only the pump itself, a new filter (included) and a new star-retainer (included). None of the other hardware from the kit was needed. I have 150 miles on the new pump, and so far it's working as well as the OEM pump did for 9500 miles. Really, this review needs to be redone in ten more years to see if it lasts as long as the OEM. The price is a no-brainer. $30 vs $350 for the updated Yamaha assembly. By the way, they recalled the Japanese WRs. Thanks Yamaha!

  • Great Package

Fits perfect and runs great. Have not had it out in hot temperatures yet where the old stock one would quit. The extra hose, clamps and wires were very helpful as you have to cut the old internal preformed hose and I broke one of the terminals getting the mounting cage apart.

  • Excellent fuel pump!

If your bike is sputtering or bogging down or not going above certain rpms. Is definetely your fuel pump. Has happened to me with 2 bikes. This fuel pump is awesome. It fixed the problem once put on. I wish I would have buy the pump before spending money on other parts I thought was the issue. Finally my bikes run amazing. Thank you for making this pumps!!

  • Perfect kit

If you are having fuel/power problems in your mule or tyrex, this is the kit. Buy it. Includes everything you need. Look on YouTube how to use s nail and poke a hole in the screen that you can’t service. Be sure to have carb cleaner on hand. Completely fixed my mule.

  • Needs specific fuel hose

I had to replace the pump in my 2004 Kawasaki Nomad 1500 because the fuel hose from the pump to the filter disintegrated and plugged up the filter and supply lines. I had installed a new pump 2 years ago when the original went bad. I replace the filter and hoses at the same time. DO NOT put regular rubber fuel line with this set up since it all goes inside the fuel tank. The fuel will eat up the rubber hose. The system needs fuel line that can be in fuel itself. This kit should provide some of that special fuel hose with it because the kit states it is for a Kawasaki Nomad and only a few inches of it is needed.

  • KX250f Aftermarket Pump & Filter that Fits like a Glove!

Bought this for a 2011 KX250f and I have not yet used it, but first look and i am very please and surprised of the quality. Pump From Japan not china with a filter that is same as stock size with the correct size O-rings, new electrical wires etc. and many other parts that are for other applications this pump fits in. Very easy to remove old pump from OEM assembly and install this new one into the KX250f OEM assembly, only thing this kit doesn't have is the pressure relief valve, which is built into the OEM housing. My original filter was very dirty very very dirty, & I was surprised to get one that looks better than OEM, even though to get a OEM you have to purchase the whole pump assembly at $360 internet price or $450 local shop price. $26 + shipping for a pump and filter, how can you go wrong! if it don't work i will update this post! If it has more flow as advertised, that's just a bonus. Get this and keep it for a back up, or replace your worn pump & dirty filter for less than dinner for two but more importantly the piece of mind for when you're out on the trail and miles from any road - trust me that is priceless.
