I did consider my hedge trimmer's blades might be less sharp now and get more easily caught in thick, soft clumps of weeds/ wild grass. However, even when it doesn't catch, it slows down too soon. Black & Decker batteries - No Cords!
I purchased the new batteries to use in my B&D equipment simply because the old batteries and charge I have had for years were beginning to loose their power in too short of time. Don’t waist your money on bad product

From and Fit
Fit is way too tight. Perhaps newer tools will accept them better but my older Black and Decker batteries and after all other market batteries I had previously purchased fit much better than these do. The molding on the batteries fit my Black and Decker 18 volt tools but the footprint/form is so very tight that it takes a fist pounding to get them on and to get them off. They do take a charge and hold a charge very well. I have no complaints about performance only the fit. I think the specs are off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great replacement battery
Perfect replacement for the worn out original battery for my tools. Very pleased with the fit and function of these batteries. Highly recommended. A little tight sliding into the tools and charging station, but I expect that to improve as they are used more.

Works Hard
The 18V battery works for the B&D week eater and the chain saw. It charges well and works well, but can deteriorate quickly with age and high climate temperatures and humidities.
