Parking brake release
This parking brake release is listed for a 1972 . I ordered it for my 1973 Jeep CJ5 knowing that . I cannot find , anywhere , a release cable that is listed for a 1973 at the same length as the original . I will say however that this cable release is well made and is assembled just like the original . I will be able to make due with it since all I’ll have to do is roll it up in a circle when installing it and it will work without binding so I’m not concerned about the difference although not correct or matching the length of the original . Since there seems to be nothing available that is identical to the original , I can make due with this new part . I’m sure that whoever it is intended for , at its proper fit , it will work just fine . I’m just happy that a new part is available to use in any respect .
