  • Great Japanese made shears at a great price.

If only a company in the U.S. could make a pair of shears of this quality at this cost... Everyone always applies the same rule of, the higher the cost, the better the value. Well, with 40 years of collecting cutlery and shears, I have never come across a pair of shears that can compare to these in price and good quality. I have paid so much more for U.S. and Italian made shears that are nice and somewhat antiques now that are of similar quality to these take apart kitchen shears. I like these better than Cutco kitchen shears. Hands down the winner over Cutco. Better feel. Better design. I'm not going to cut a penny in half to prove it, which I'm sure these would do that with ease, but with normal kitchen and general use, I will have these for a lifetime. And I won't have to sharpen them near as much. Don't waste money on more expensive German, Italian, even U.S. and other Japanese made high end name brand shears. For general use, these will stand up against them nicely.
