TSC WOW4 is a great decoder for a great price.
I switched from Tsunamis to WOW4 about 2 years ago. You can get a WOW4 with Keep Alive for less than a 1 AMP Tsunami without the Current Keeper. They are all American made which I like. WOW4 decoders will wow you for a good price
I am a S Scaler but still can use most "HO" decoders. I was Tsunami only for many years until I was told to try a WOW4. I easily have 30 of them in my locos now. The programming takes a bit to get used to but I have it figured out. You can get a WOW4 with Keep Alive for less than a 1 amp Tsunami without the Current Keeper. Finally Programming DCC Engines is Easy
I have installed around a hundred sound decoders, mainly Soundtraxx, but this new WOW 101-KA has them all beat. Audio active programming is much easier than using a programming track and/or Decoder Pro. I also believe the sound quality, using a good speaker, is better. The new WOW Sound Decoders will be my choice in the future. The only drawbacks I have found is that when trying to program two engines you have to do them one at a time, but this is true for everyone else. If you inadvertently hit the mute key while programming you have no idea where you are in the programming sequence. With Decoder Pro you can see where you are and have been. Speed Matching and Calibration for Atuo-notching are two of the best features and far simpler than the competition to perform. The decoder essentially comes with a free current keeper or keep alive also All around, the steam and diesel TCS WoW decoders have everyone beat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

These TCS WOW decoders, steam or diesel are in my opinion the best prototypical decoders; sound and operation I have found. The Keep Alive option is so essential operating DCC locomotives as the problem of decoders turning off and having to be restarted is eliminated.
