Great vacuum
I had one of the Dyson DC24 upright ball vacuums in 2008 and gave it to someone else when my husband bought a larger Dyson a couple years ago - turns out the Dyson DC24 was more my style and I couldn't believe my good fortune when I found one for sale on ebay - the company stopped making this exact model a few years ago - I have been using this for a few weeks now and it works like a dream like my other DC24 did - I like the Dyson DC24 because it's light weight, is easy to store because the handle slips down to the top of the machine, it's bag-less and the clear plastic canister is easy to empty, the filters can be washed at the sink, it's easy to get around pieces of furniture and I'm very happy with it - it has a shorter cord than some other vacuums but that is fine in my opinion - I'm lucky to have outlets right where I need them and I don't have a huge home so this is perfect for me - less chances for cord to get wrapped on furniture or on me.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Light weight and great for different floors
Had never had a Dyson before because we have a built in system at home but after needing to completely furnish a Florida vacation home we were in need of a good vacuum. This one came highly recommended and it was a wonderful purchase! It works wonderfully on the tile floors and adjust for cleaning the carpets too. This is my second Dyson ball I love how smooth it turns around furniture legs. The width of the power nozzle fits perfect between kitchen chair legs. It's really powerful too. One thing to be careful of is things that are too big can clog the hose near the bottom where there is a sharp curve.
