At first glance you can discern that they took a lot of care and forethought in making these awesome blades. If you want a broadhead that will drop them, this is the one. But as is the case with any blade, your shot placement HAS to be correct. This broadhead will give you a firehouse size blood trail if you place it correctly. Wait for the broadside shot or just don't shoot. This is a great broadhead at a reasonable price point when compared to all other manufacturers. Being on a hunting club in the eastern part of NC we have a lot of deer per square mile. So much so our club is issued an extra 100 does tags each year. For the past 9-10 years I have killed 15+ deer during bow season so I can say this with a lot of experience behind it. I have shot deer with pretty much every brand of broad head available. Everything from two blades, 3 blades, 4 blades, all the popular mechanicals I mean everything. About 3 years ago I tried slick trick. After seeing the very nice blood trails I was impressed. But what really sold me was the many times I've had to make a rushed shot that was shots I should have let them walk. These broad heads killed them just as fast cause of their sharpness, diameter, and how well they penetrate. Hell, I shot one doe who kept blowing at me in square in the ass at 33 yards and the arrow came out her chest and stuck in the ground. She ran about 50 yards. If you try these you will be done looking for the perfect broad head. I shoot a bowtech destroyer set at 70 pounds and shooting at 400 gr arrow at 322 fps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
