Works as intended but has an ironic fatal flaw
This extended magazine does load 8 rounds and feeds ammo into the 1908 Vest Pocket as intended. However, the magazine has a fatal flaw. Once you insert the magazine into the Vest Pocket, it's almost impossible to take the magazine out without help from a knife, pliers, etc. The magazine literally blocks the Vest Pocket's mag release which is ironic. If the Vest Pocket's mag release was a button like the Colt Junior then this magazine would easily be 5 stars. I tried to make this mag work by cutting the black tab off with scissors and lubing the mag up but it seriously is how the mag is designed which is it's flaw no matter what. It shouldn't have to take 2 people to get a mag out. 1 using a knife to push the mag release since the knife was the only thing thin enough to reach the mag release and the other person having to actually put effort into pulling the mag out. Unacceptable. Redesign the bottom of the mag to allow easy access to the mag release please. Would not recommend especially as use of a knife / pliers could potentially cause damage to such a vintage piece of history which is the 1908 Vest Pocket.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
