Lots of clever words. Sent me to the dictionary a couple of times. Characters are a bit too flawed..
S Donaldson is quite the wordsmith. The story has many compelling characters, plots and subplots. However, Covenant is one stubborn and bumbling hero. I don't particularly like him and I find the whole thing a bit formulaic. Still, having said that, I am compelled to keep reading it LOL!
