Read and follow the instructions
I have read reviews from several sites on these particular mounts and decided they were what I was looking for. I mounted them according to the enclosed instructions and made the proper adjustments with Locktite and zeroed the rifle then removed the scope for my night time gear. After two weekends of night hunting for hogs, I wanted to do some day shooting, they were dead on. I have done this numerous times and they hold zero with no problems, the key is proper adjustment on the lock and use Locktite.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Spend A Little Extra
Don't buy those cheap rings that cost a few dollars...the screws strip very easily. I have a couple of them l'm going to have to drill out to get the rings off the gun. These UTG rings cost a little more and are worth the price. They seem to be well made and screws appear to be made of harder steel. If you have unlimited funds, buy LaRue rings...but they will cost you a few hundred $$$ for a pair of them...they are the benchmark to which all others are compared...and MIL-SPEC.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

UTG lever lock rings
This is the second set I have purchased, they work well on my AR 15 flat top. Some may want a slightly higher ring but for me it works very well, very consistent check weld on my fixed A2 stock. I have been using my original set for about 5 years with excellent results. The only thing I would change if they offered it would be a forward extension ring. As my gun and scope is setup now the front ring runs against the adjustment housing. It is fine and has no effect on function, I just think an extension ring would be a cleaner more balanced look. Can't beat the value of these scope rings at any price
