Works as expected. Has USB interface which is easy to use and can be moved between PCs as needed. Software can be downloaded WITHOUT CHARGE directly from Motorola. [Thanks to the bat for doing the right thing with that!] Minitor VI pagers have lots of options but the cradle works well and the software and a few internet searches will explain the options. I am a volunteer EMS provider in a rural area and this pager is SO much better than my previous Minitor V. I like that it can be set to verbally tell you what each switch position is setup to do. audio seems at least as good as V and is clearly louder at max than my V ever was. The granular programmability solves many problems, such as several seconds of 'dead air' between tones and verbal info.
