It REALLY Works!!! Massive Difference in my DDR2 system!!! Great for OC'ing!
A blessing! i was working on my mom's computer which was a hand me down from me. when i had it, it only had 4GB DDR2 1066 and a while back i had doubled the memory to 8GB (all slots filled) and upgaded to win10. So then every once in a while they would get a weird error in MS office that i googled and came up as a memory error. so i upped voltage a little. Well then we were also in process of upgrading wifi and getting 802.11ax router and i upgraded the nic in the pc as well and you know what? the dang memory was almost too hot to touch! i mean i could touch the processor heatsink and it was barely warm! the memory was the hottest component in the system! So i ended up getting one of these fans and now the memory is just as cool as everything else. and it's not as loud as people make it out to be. also it comes with a low noise adapter if you need it but it's not too bad really. Haven't had an error since! prob make the system last a lot longer too! Was surprised at how hot the memory was running but i don't think it was as bad with just the 2 sticks in there but with all 4 plus a 64bit OS running it was pushing them a lot harder. So if you're running ddr2 or just looking to squeeze some more performance out of an overclock, look no further. Plus it comes with 3 or 4 different color shrouds so you can match your build. oh yeah and it uses a standard fan in case you ever need to replace it. Noctua makes one that size if you can't stand ANY noise at all. also clips to any MB (even asus) so you can move it to a new system if you decide to do a new build. Great product!
