I still need to use a regular tester that will allow to use just chassis ground only and test for positive only. This device requires it be connected to both positive and negative to operate. Also the tolerance for ground readings is too sensitive on newer vehicles with low voltage ground. It will not pick it up as a ground signal on sound or light indicator. Only on digit numerical display. Older power probe and newer 4 model behaves better
