1995 Mercury Grand Marquis gas tank installation, these saved the day.
These nuts totally save the day for repairing my 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis. I had to install a new gas tank, and these are exactly what was needed. These were very easy to install. I'm definitely not saying that it was easy to install the gas tank, I'm just saying that it was very easy to install these into the frame. They go in easily and with no problem. I didn't run into any problems and it's hard to imagine that anyone else would considering how easily these go into place. The car that they were installed on is well over 20 years old and even though the bottom of the car is Rusty it was quite easy to put these in and install the gas tank with them. Good luck finding the stud bolts that you have to use. Ford no longer sells them. I had to use some exhaust flange bolts made by Dorman that I got at the local car parts store that were 10 mm threads..
