I have read many of Miller's books about the West. This one did not measure up to most of her other books. I felt so sorry for Walker and not knowing about his children for so long. He missed their growing up years and felt like he did not really know them. Casey was so selfish to keep them from him. I guess there were too many personal feeling involved to enjoy the book. I hope you enjoy reading another of Miller's western romantic stories.
