Fits into the seatbelt well. The elastic part has good tension . Gives a good amount of resistance . The length is perfect. Lets my dog ( 65lb pitbull) hang out the backseat window and stand on my middle console ( full size suv) . Keeps dog safe from jumping/ falling out window and flying through the windshield if I ever have to hit the brakes or get rear ended. Got 2 of these for about $15.
