Cables do make a difference in audio quality
Before buying this 2549 cable, I was using a 2534. The difference between these two is significant, to my ears at least. The 2534 is more 'dark', the higher frequencies not as pronounced; while the 2549 is more transparent and a little more crisp to me, as far as the higher frequencies go. I'm currently using a Schoeps CMC641 into a Sound Devices Mix Pre-3 and the 2549 cable sounds so much better!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
