Good deal need parts, armature.
Easy to fix, rework, if needed, used to repair them. Make sure it has the OEM motor, if you don't vacuum up water/fluids, will last a lifetime. But, most people strongly prefer upright vacuums. Weakness is in the hose, the electrical wires, break, with all the twisting etc, that the worst feature of the vacuum. This is for using the power nozzle, can buy pass that with attaching extension cord to hose, and plug extension cord into wall, a bit of a hassle, but, not worth $40.00 or so for new hose if you can find one. The review is for electrolux vacuum build/sold/made on of before 1987, I don't know how they changed after that. It's as "old" as "new"!
This is a vintage Electrolux canister - exactly like my old one that I've had a good 20-25 years and it was a used one when I bought it! The motor was wearing out so I ordered this one and it works just perfectly! These are really the best vacuums - even better than the new ones! This seller is also to be congratulated!
