Base plate to narrow to fit frame
I have used blue ox base plates in the past, but this one did not fit as expected. The end plates were about 3/8 of a inch to narrow to fit over the frame. I had to spring them out to get them wide enough and them jack and hammer the base plate into position. I can not say it is great quality if it has to be muscled into fitting. It does seen to be well designed and the welds all looked good. Now that it is in place it should be as solid as the others I have used in the past.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good quality, but some parts incorrect.
This baseplate was as advertised. The only problem was that they included the wrong size nuts for 4 of the bolts. They were 3/8”, not 1/2” whizzer nuts which are attached to a wire extension to reach inside the frame. Had to call Blue Ox and wait for correct nuts to arrive. Pros, the product is of very good quality and the instructions are straightforward for easy installation. Cons, when the bolts are installed to the jeep frame, it decreases the room you have to reinstall your push pins for the plastic skid plate. The product needs improvement to fit properly.
It took several hours of hand adjustment and grinding to allow it to fit properly. The included spacers especially took a lot of grinding and correcting to fit correctly.
