Works perfectly, not very retro looking.
The lower seal system with the nut works great, so much better than the cheaper generic ones, and the fill rate is really good as well. Plus the quick release tube means you can install the lower part without the whole tube attached, which is nice when you're doing it in the car and space is tight, then just pop the tube in once the lower seal is done. The only thing holding me back from a full 5 stars is that the look of it is only appropriate for a billet street rod type build. If this was offered with a more retro/period correct look it would be perfect. Functionally though, it works perfect and has completely eliminated the leak issue I had with my old setup.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent with a couple exceptions.
Installs nice and secure with a big oil boot. No more single rubber O ring holding in the 12 quarts of oil. Or is it. Installed fine. When putting in the dipstick to the lower dipstick mount you notice a small Orting sealing the dipstick body to the dipstick mounting area. The big seal is from the dipstick mount to the transmission. Kinda defeats the purpose of the large mouthing gasket. So far no leaks. Second drawback, you cannot use a oil extractor.... Get this, not the no-name ones. There is a difference.
This think is amazing. DO NOT buy the no-name ones for half the price, I had to take that one apart several times in attempt to make it seal, they don't flex well, get the dipstick not to get stuck, and it would not fill well. This Lokar is just wonderful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
