This thing is a lifesaver! Sure it does take 8 batteries to run, but I find the suction is just as strong as when I use the ac powersource. It's not that great
I bought this item because I work outside so I need to be able to pump when I am away from my daughter. The very first time it worked alright but every time since it hasn't worked like I need it to. My pump moves so slow while connected to this battery pack that it makes my pumping sessions annoying now. I do not recommend getting this .Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I didn't like the idea of using so many batteries, however I had purchased a rechargeable 9 volt battery pack off of Amazon and it barely turned my pump on. So I decided to purchase this battery pack and it works perfectly. Pump has great suction and I now have a back up if we lose power or need to travel.
