A Good WiFi Extender For Mixed (Older & Newer Device) Wireless Demands
This is a great WiFi extender for LEGACY (802.11 b,g,n) devices. This extender allowed me to turned off the 2.4 Gig transmitter in my router and offload the older and slower 2.4 Gig devices to the extender. This resolved the issues I was experiencing with the older, rarely used, devices during high demand from my newer devices. I was able to configure the extender to communicate with the router on 5 Gig and communicate with the older devices in the 2.4 Gig range they use. Great WIFI extender, very easy to set up
Very easy to install, had working in 10 minutes. Hit WPS on extender and WPS button on my Spectrum WIFI home router. Took about 5 minutes for both 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz to sync to Spectrum router.
