I have bought many of these for the holidays, and I plan to keep them in the house afterwards. They are of the best quality because of the way they burn and the strength of the scents.. Many candles form a crater, leaving most of the wax to waste. Not the Yankee Candles. The liquid wax forms across the entire candle surface, and is ready for relighting after it hardens again. It is best to limit the lit time to two hours, and if you have more than one candle, you can rotate, keeping the beautiful scents in the house all the time. I burn mine all the time and they really have lasted. They come with a lid. Use this to extinguish the flame, rather than blowing it out, and you won't have the smoky odor that happens with all candles. Just cap the flaming candle with the lid, depriving the flame of oxygen, and light the next candle. Yes, they are expensive, but in the long run, it is a better deal than the cheaper candles that don't last and have lesser of a scent. eBay sellers often have good bargains, too. That is where I buy all of mine. I haven't found a scent I didn't love. As with all candles, use common sense for safety, being careful not to catch fire to drapes and other things. Always extinguish the flame before leaving the house or going to sleep. Great for gifts.
I could have sworn I just left a review about this. This scent is an old favorite of mine. I have no idea why this particular scent was discontinued. It seems to be popular. I'm just glad I was able to find a pack of two candle of this scent on EBay. Thanks for wrapping them so tightly for shipping. It would have been terrible for them to arrive and be broken from shipping.
