Not a good light
The light provides a wide and broad diffuse light which is not very bright. What is needed for welding is more of a bright spot that lights up a 3-4 inch diameter to light up the area where you want to start welding -- not the entire workpiece. Nice idea so I might glue a magnet to a small led flashlight which will work much better and cost considerably less.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Welding light
Light works well, and with my helmet, lights up the area I need. Magnet in light is attached w glue and it had come lose but was easily fixed. Seems to be holding up to the heat and intense light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
