Heat diffuser keeps broth at right temperature
I make lots of bone broth and until now maintaining the optimal temperature has been a task. Even at the lowest setting my stove's "simmer burner" would want to boil rather than simmer. Stay away, unless you collect useless things
My statement has nothing to do with the seller, whose service was great. This is only about the product itself. I'm perplexed by the fact that I have to assign some stars to the product that in my humble opinion is simply useless. Could do a good job as a prop in Hollywood, but there's no way you can take it into action. The metal is way thin, the distance between the two plates is ridiculously small, the handle comes off on ins own will, and the overall built is flimsy to say the least. Poor quality & dangerous!
The wooden handle is far too close to the heat diffusing ring. Upon my first usage, the handle caught on fire & fell off. This happened even when taking safety precautions by moving away from flame & wetting handle with water. The item was obviously not properly designed or tested.
