I have to say I am on the fence with this one. On one hand it is a nice scent but on the other it is not at all what I expected. I don't get honey or oud, I get a smokey burnt sugar that has sort of an incense vibe .I also am not getting the beast mode performance that I always heard of with Montale / Mancera products. Something that I have learned from fragging is that when you are disappointed or surprised by a frag new to you it is a good idea to use 5 ml or so from the bottle and put it on a shelf to macerate for 1 to 3 months. They have a way of changing scent profiles and performance quality. If it still disappoints after that then decide to sell or gift it. The other and better lesson I have learned is to stay with the cheapies since frag pricing is only about marketing. Some great inexpensive houses are Jacques Bogart (many), Remy Latour (cigar series) and Reyane (Insurrection product line). It's just IMO. This Honey Aoud is the most expensive in my collection and I am not impressed overall although to be fair it is a first impression and at least I got a lower price for it on Ebay than I have seen online.Read full review
