I absolutely love this product
We have an 18' round above ground pool, which we installed 7 years ago. I was convinced by the pool store to use a special copper based chemical to manage our pool's chemical levels instead of chlorine. I cannot tell you just how happy we are that we don't have to use chlorine to keep our pool clean. Except for the chlorine in the weekly dosage of shock, all I do all summer once the PH and other levels are good is to use 2 scoops of EZ-pool and I'm done! No trip to the pool store to have my water tested. My pool stays clean all summer. I have since switched to the EZ-pool product after finding out that the product the local pool store here is the same thing but with a name on the container labeled just for them. It is a pain to get the that particular store and it is also a bit more expensive. The EZ-pool manager is more expensive I believe over the summer than what straight chlorine would be, but it is worth it!! I would however, like to see the price of this product go down as does many products over time. I love EZ-Pool!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I believe there are probably better cost effective methods of keeping your pool chemistry up to par. However, if you're looking for a once a week drop in and go and price is no concern, then this is your stuff. We have a 27' x 52" round that holds approx 17,500 gal. According to the MFG, we should add 4 scoops/wk. At almost $100 a 10# bucket that's about a bucket/mo or $100/mo to maintain our pool and that's not counting chlorine tablets and an occasional bag of shock after it rains. Conclusion: works very well, our pool is crystal clear! Good quality no fuss all-in-one low maintenance pool chemicals but very pricey too. This is the best product we've used to maintain our pool over the summer. For the last 2 seasons, we have shocked the pool at the beginning of the season, put in 4 scoops of EZ pool weekly, and 2 chlorine sticks in the skimmer each week. And that's it.
