Vgreen 2.7 variable speed motor
The cheapest price I could find for a new Vgreen 2.7 online. Installed on a tristar pump. Very quiet and seems to run efficiently. Display setting is nice in that is shows the power consumption (watts). Came with a quick start guide and manual. Easy to program with intuitive controls. I would verify the date of manufacture and warranty info with the manufacturer (Regal/Century). Overall, pleased with this motor. Seems well built. It is heavy so may need a helping hand when installing. Read complaints online of the display panel failing when exposed to rain so buying a motor cover/housing may be advisable (or a DIY plastic bin would work).

Nice pump.
Easy installation. Replaced a Hayward EcoStar SP3400VSP without trouble except the power wire locations were different enough that the wiring needed to be lengthened a couple of inches. Had to install a junction box and a longer Liquidtight whip.Quiet. Wish it had digital inputs like the smaller Vgreen 165 has. Not too bad to program but a more modern UI would be better.
