My favorite antidepressant
This is my absolute favorite antidepressant and it starts to work in two days, but be warned- it works WONDERFULLY for 6 months, then stops working. You may think that's where it ends, however, write the day you stop taking it on your calendar because in 6 months from that date (almost exactly) it will work again for 6 months. This cycle repeats over & over. I'm actually treatment resistant & this works great for me when I use it in the way I just described. Please be advised that Gabatrol is meant to be used for a cycle of six (6) months on/ six (6) months off for full effectiveness. Gabatrol is an amazing supplement and the first thing I recommend to anyone I meet who tells me they are depressed, however, be prepared for it to stop working entirely after APPROXIMATELY six months of usage (for me, it works almost exactly for six months at a time). If you then stop taking it for six months altogether then start up again, it will work as well as it did the first time. I suffer from treatment-resistant depression and have tried almost every psychiatric drug available and almost all of them have stopped working after a while and then never worked again. I was so happy when, after six months, Gabatrol worked as well as before. Your prescriber may not know about the cycle. My doctor is an "integrative psychopharmacologist" who prescribes both supplements and drugs. So don't lose hope if Gabatrol stops working for you.
