Fillet knife
Great utility tool when your out fishing and you just want to fillet a fish for dinner. The fillet knife will require about one hour to prepare the blade at 1000 and 6000 grit on a stone. After that you will have a useable knife.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

spring in lock mechanism NOT saltwater proof
The parts you (don't ) see that make the knife work as a "lockback" will rust, corrode, break, disolve, etc... so in short time the knife will not lock open. I used it for filet knife on the boat. Lock broke pretty soon after purchase from (saltwater I assume) although the knife was rinsed and cleaned at end of the day each time we used it on the boat. The blade itself tho holds a decent edge pretty well for it to be a cheap knife tho. I recommend spending the extra money for a quality $50-$75 filet knife with sheave like a BubbaBlade and move on.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
