The Pros: The ironwood scales are very attractive, especially on the gunstock pattern. The fit is excellent with no gapping. No gapping on the backsprings. Both blades are sharp enough right out of the box. The 2-blade Trapper format provides practical versatility. The brass liners, pins and Old Timer shield complement the ironwood scales. The Cons: The spey blade is not centered on my knife. The scales felt a little tacky/rough out of the box. A quick buff with ultra-fine steel wool produced a silky-smooth feel.
