It's a good accurate clock though the knobs for setting the time and when the alarm goes off are a bit small for arthritic fingers and the price is a bit high but it's nearly impossible to find these anymore and in the line of work I do I can't take the chance on batteries or if the power failsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality? Good value?
Being able to adjust how fast (or slow) to obtain a consistent correct time is a help. I have to wind it twice a day and the winding key hurts the fingers. Its not as good as the one our family had when I was a child, but its keeping better time than my battery operated atomic clock. Its alarm is dependable and easy to use. I just got this earlier today. Nice simple alarm clock! Keeps time well when properly wound, the alarm is really loud. Most importantly, I don't need to find an available outlet or worry about batteries. Novel but not a reliable daily alarm clock

BEWARE OF MADE in CHINA PRODUCTS
wound clock and it seemed fine, the it started running fast by 15 minutes, adjusted rear timer and it slowed down to -10 minutes slow, some times it will run on a daily wind-up for 10 hours, then would-up it ran for 5 hours before needing winding. Thought it needed to break-in, wound it again and it did not run at all.. The adjuster knobs on back are extremity hard to adjust and require to much force to set correctly.
