Worth the price but not overly detailed.
I liked that this particular model was an "easy fit" kit. Most of the pieces fit quite well with a simple push and without really using any glue. It's not the most detailed kit but, for me, the price was right and I'm the only one who sees it anyway. Some kits can be a handful with movable flaps and other highly detailed items such as ammo cut aways, PE parts, and so on, but this model is quite simple. I would definitely buy this kit again and, perhaps, purchase a decal package for one of the P-47 aces Robert Johnson.

Hobby Boss 1/48 P-47 Easy Kit
Basically an in-between kit from snap together to regular model kit. Missing some detail under the wings and on the molded engine/cowl. Not really for the modeler looking for high detail. I suppose one could make modifications for more detail, but for all the effort, it would be simpler to buy a higher end kit.
