Exceedingly warm, soft and comfortable.
These are by far the warmest mittens I've ever used. I tend to have cold hands and feet so regular gloves and mitten don't usually keep my hands sufficiently warm. These mittens are different. The cowhide exterior is soft and supple. The interior cotton lining with partial fingers are comfortable. Whatever makes them warm is very effective! The cowhide is durable. They will be my go-to mittens for all my outdoor winter chores for many years to come. My daughter got a pair as a gift, and after borrowing them, I bought a pair for myself, and now my husband wanted in on the action and has his own pair on the way!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Able to wear these mittens in very cold weather. They are waterproof and that helps a lot. Wish that the lining wasn't separating the fingers, though. The reason I like mittens is they are not gloves - i.e., no fingers. I would prefer mittens with no fingers. That way I can warm my fingers by keeping them together.
