The best product for its purpose. Be sure to tape up your shoes (we use painter's tape) before applying this on your shoe. Also, don't use too much at a time. We like to "paint" a thin coat, wait around 30 minutes, and then apply another thin coat. If needed, we apply a third thin coat. It really rejuvenates an old shoe. My sons and I like to buy used Alden's, Red Wings, Allan Edmonds, etc., shoes from Ebay. We then refurbish them. This is one of the products we use. We also use Saphir products. You can bring back those old shoes and have them looking great. I bought a pair of used Red Wing Chukkas years ago. The previous owner did not take care of it. Well, I went to town and cleaned it up. To this day, I get compliments on that old, tired pair of Red Wings.

This dye made my old bag look like new! The cow leather had partly faded and turned from black into a hideous green color which made it look shabby and cheap. After realising how hard it is nowadays to find a bag that suits all your needs and wishes I decided to give leather dye a try. On the box it says that "Navy Blue dyed leathers may surface "bronze"". This is what happened to my bag, despite the fact that it's black. It upset at first, but after reading on the box that it can be fixed by a shoe polish I applied some leather cream which worked just as fine! Now I can wear my "new" bag without being self-conscious about people noticing the state of my bag. Thank you!

Easy to use with good results on a smooth leather purse, a pebbled-leather purse, a wallet and a pair of shoes. I cut-up a priority mail box to protect my counter and wore gloves. Prepped the items using nail polish remover and a scrubby sponge. Used the included dauber and a synthetic angled artist brush for detail areas. The black definitely dries to a bronze-like sheen. Just use leather conditioner to buff-out the bronze finish. I used Kiwi leather conditioner; you need to condition the leather anyways. I'm planning to finish my newly-dyed projects with Fiebing's Resolene to prevent possible color transfer.

Needed to dye a natural grain leather motorcycle seat, from natural, to black. Bought two bottles, to make sure I had enough, to do the job. One bottle would have done three seats, the size of mine! This stuff works excellently and quickly. One coat looks like it was always black, and it is permanent. I recommend to anyone needing the best dye available!
