Probably the second best racer on the N64 (top honors going to Mario Kart 64 obviously). I personally didn't get into Wave Race until the GameCube with Wave Race Blue Storm, which is possibly my all time favorite racing game, so to me the N64 version pales slightly in comparison. The controls are much more floaty here than in Blue Storm, not nearly as tight and reactive, but whenever i hear someone comparing 64 to Blue Storm they mention how 64 controlled so much better, so i'm probably in the minority on that one. The graphics on 64 are probably on par with Blue Storm, though one generation behind (although the water in Blue Storm is probably the best video game water i've ever seen). The music in 64 functions well enough, while in Blue Storm it's one of my favorite things about the game. But the main thing in any Wave Race game is the water physics, and it kind of blows my mind that they were able to get the N64 to pull off such realistic looking and feeling wave effects. All in all, Wave Race 64 is a strong start to a great series, and a fun game in it's own right. Highly recommended.Read full review

This game was no good at all the inside was corroded the outside looked all stained up and it's not even playable I don't understand how you can say this game is in excellent condition when it's crap

Great gameplay that encourages replaying missions with different ships and strategies to get better medals and graphics for an N64 game, but no tutorial or control explanation and lack of cohesive story might make it difficult for some to find it engaging.

Looks pretty good for an n64 game, especially with the expansion pak high definition mode. Gameplay is pretty decent for a single stick flight shooter, and has a few fun cheats to play with

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron was one of my favorite games from N64 because: I love Star Wars, the game was easy to learn, and immensely fun. Rogue Squadron was a great buy back in 1998 when I it was given to me and my two brothers and still a great game today. Rogue Squadron had a great campaign was challenging at extremely re-playable. I played this game through multiple times because you have access to so many crafts from X-Wings, A-Wings, V-Wings, and my favorite the Snowspeeder(there was even more with cheat codes such as: Tie Fighters, the Millennium Falcon, the Naboo Starfighter, etc.). The level ranking system also gave you an incentive to keep playing it until you could get perfect scores on all the levels. Perhaps one of the great accomplishments of the game was how easy it was to learn how to play. Even now after being used to two analog controllers it is still easy to pick up and great to play. If the game has any fault its that it is fairly easy to win yet with the ranking it can be challenging to achieve top scores. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is a great buy for your N64 system still after twelve years!Read full review
I had this game decades ago and loved it back then. This game brought me back as soon as I plugged it into the N64 system. Quality is excellent and no issues.

Planetary battles is what Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is all about. Based on the novel and comic book series by the same name, Rogue Squadron follows the adventures of a daring group of pilots led by Luke Skywalker and (later on) Wedge Antilles. In Rogue, players take on the role of Luke Skywalker (and Wedge in the last mission) and set out to fight the evil Empire in more than 15 missions in familiar and new Star Wars locations. The battles all take place in extensive 3D worlds on planetary surfaces (there are no space battles) ranging from the hot sands of Tatooine to the spice mines of Kessel and even the oceans of the Mon Calamari. In addition to the 15 regular missions, there are also a few hidden ones that have to be unlocked.
Now I am a little older than most but this is one of my favorite Star Wars games of all time. I finally was able to get an N64 and this is the first game that I bought.

A fantastic lovable game, you'll play this and probably think of better games but you will no doubt love it. Flying x-wings and a-wings and such is fun, wrapping up an At-At in 3d is exciting, the missions are well played out, challenges get more complex, however the big thing is that once you've beaten the game you've only really completed a 1/2 of the whole thing. Getting all of the medals, unlocking all of the ships and missions and exploring all the little secrets and movie references not only gives this game a high replay value but also adds true appreciation for the game where as today most games are designed to be enjoyed in one quick burst before the next game comes out, (granted online play solves this a bit) however if you are looking for a fun single player experience that will last more than a 12 pack of soda you should get Rogue Squadron. (Try to avoid the PC version until after the N64 version -I personally can't stand the flight controls on PC)Read full review
You remember the first level of Shadows of the Empire that you like so much? It's basically a game full of levels like that.
