Don't waste your money !
I bought this oil pressure sending unit for my 2011 jeep grand Cherokee basically because it says American made and was a good deal. Fitment was good but when fired up jeep I had 0 oil pressure I had to resort to going to auto parts store and pay 50$ .but worked great .lesson learned!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Exact replacement for original oil press...
Exact replacement for original oil pressure sending unit. Works well. It takes a 1-1/4 deep socket. (I am a DIY guy.) To disconnect the wire, I had to come in from under the car, remove the oil filter, remove the wire, then back out the sending unit a few threads. Next, from inside the engine compartment, I removed the unit (using the socket), cleaned the threaded hole, then (to avoid cross-threading), I gently threaded the new unit in by hand for a few threads. Once I was certain it threaded in correctly, I used the socket to tighten it. Then, I went back in under the car to reconnect the wire and reinstall the oil filter.
