An essential text on Norwegian Rosemaling
If you were only going to own one book about Norwegian rosemaling, it should be this one. A lovely essay at the beginning of the book places the draft in a historic context. Technical chapters include a lot of great information about brushes, paints, surface prep, work position, and more (nb: the authors are working in oil paints, not acrylics). 10/10, do reccommend.
