This is the most amazing tripod for the price I have ever used! As a former network news cameraman I have always worked with heavy duty top of the line equipment. And when I decided to buy a backup tripod for my second mirrorless camera I toyed with buying a much more expensive tripod but figured that if it didn't meet my expectations, I could return it. This tripod went above and beyond! It is solid. Smooth panning it even has a tilt spring to keep the camera from tipping over with heavy loads. I would feel comfortable using this tripod with my Red camera. Alright it doesn't have all the features of a broadast tripod, no pan fluid adjustment and a very rudimenatary tilt drag adjustment but for a little over a hundred bucks it is amazing. The legs go up to 72 inches and no flex or wiggle fully extended. I couldn't be happier with it. I may buy a second.Read full review

Look man, I dont expect this thing to go up against a Sachtler but its not bad. The head is about 50% less fluid than a Sachtler but it does the trick. It has a small level to make sure its level. The pans are smooth and the tilts are OK though when you stop its not a good stop. They have to work on the tilts. I used it last Friday and my tilt was bad because it kept moving. The plastic construction leaves it to be broken in a couple years--the locking mechanism on the legs are plastic and cheap. The legs are alloy so they are made well. The quick release for your camera is not bad. I give it an A. The ease of folding, I give it a B. Its quick to fold up. The Construction I give it a C. Too much plastic. The fluid head I give a D. The tilt up and down is horrible. The bag it comes with I give a B. Fits easily and made well. The feet I give a B. The cheap rubber feet look like they can be easily replaced. The tilt handle I give a B. It extends and collapses easily for travel. The weight is fair, I give it a B. Its not going to give you a back ache. The good thing about this unit is again, its not an expensive Sachtler so when unlocking it from your camera, nobodys going to want to steal it when shooting Broll. Read full review

Just got this today and set it up. I’m very impressed. This is a better tripod than I’ve used at some TV stations I’ve worked for. I got this to use with a Mamiya RB67 medium format film camera and a Nikon D800 DSLR, as well as a Nikon F5 35mm film camera. This set of sticks will be rock solid under any of these cameras. It’s not especially light or compact, but for long exposure landscape photography, you don’t want light, you want SOLID. This delivers that in spades. Very please and expect many years of service.

I bought this to support a camera slider and it is amazing..... a huge difference from my lightweight tripod. It’s super sturdy and very good quality.

I was shocked when I got it out of the box!!! This tripod is so big and sturdy I'm in love with this. So easy to use and has a carry strap. So of the others I have ordered I was afraid to walk away and leave my camera on it, but don't have that problem with this one!! Highly recommend. Great Product Guys!!
