Easy fix for average handy person.
A damaged, cracked or noisy spindle is annoying and could be possible dangerous. This is an easy fix for any average handy person with a reasonable tool box. An impact wrench is helpful but you can get by without it. Disassemble the broken spindle and inspect the shaft and bearings. They could be useful later if only the spindle housing is damaged. Or look at it this way. Junk the old piece and order another complete unit. At this price - you are still way ahead of the curve. Also the grease fitting is a nice addition. It's there for a purpose. A greased unit should last much longer. Grease it! HAVE FAITH IN YOUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor quality spindles
The spindles shipped and arrived quickly enough. The quality however is only fair at best. I have replaced spindles before on my other Husqvarna mowers and these spindles are of poorer quality. When I was installing the center spindle, two of the mounting holes must have had poor threads. I didn't even barley tighten the bolts and they stripped and just kept spinning around. I put lock nuts on the bottom of the bolts to keep them in and to secure the spindles. The other bolts all seemed to hold. The grease fittings also seem to be of poor quality. Difficult to get my grease gun on and the leaked unless my grease gun was perfectly straight. I would not recommend nor buy these spindles again. Replaced worn out spindles in my lawn tractor
These fit and performed well on my 2013 Craftsman YT3000 42” lawn tractor. I like them better than my original ones because they have a grease fitting on top for lubricating the upper and lower bearings. I tapped them using a 5/16” x 18 thread tap rather than using the self tapping bolts from my old spindles which made installation much easier. Perfect mower spindle replacement
Perfect replacement for my Husqvarna 46" mower. These spindles are an exact replacement of the OEM ones. I used the mower approximately five times since replacement. The bearings feel tight and all seems fine. Only time will determine how long the spindle will last, but they seem to be the same as what the mower came with. I recommend purchasing new "thread-cutting" bolts for the spindles. Spindles bolt holes are smooth and the bolts used with these are to cut their own threads into the aluminum cast housing to ensure a strong hold over time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Deck spindle
Fit perfectly on my craftsman yt 3000. Same quality as original but with a grease fitting. Don't forget to reuse the old spacer under the top pulley. Bolts are self tapping, no threads in new hub. Way better than the original.

Unfinished product
Shaft is undrilled for grease fitting and mounting bolts holes aren't tapped. I drilled and tapped the housing for a grease fitting and removed the inner seals.
