After having some minor problems with third party versions of this GPU platform, I decided to buy my first nVidia reference card for $350 @ a local blue and yellow retailer in October of 2012. I could not be happier and have since picked up 3 more for much less from various sources (as low as $100 for a used one on eBay in Dec of 2015). All 4 are still in service and work like they did on day one. My original card (now 3 years old) has never been cleaned and is on 99% of the time. The fan is balanced and silent like it was the day it came home with me. As far as gaming is concerned, the only experience I have with this card is Titan Fall ... which I played maxed out on dual monitors @ 1920*1200 for 9 months while consistently getting 65-70 fps. I have not had any compatibility issues with this card using the firmware that came on them. This is my card of choice in the $100 range until 780's drop to this price point. I have not attempted to overclock any of these, but if the base spec of this card meets your criteria, I don't think you will find a more stable or reliable verison than nVidia's own reference design GeForce GTX 660 Ti.Read full review

I guess I envisioned better graphics than what I had, but I must have had pretty good graphics already. Even after adding more RAM I didn't see that big of an improvement. Must have my sights set to high for the price I'm willing to pay. Card has shut down 2 times without a reason I know of, but I'll continue using it til I figure out what is better.

Awesome card! I got this for about $85 used and its a great graphics card. I've been reluctant to spend money on a new gaming machine. So I paired this with an old core 2 quad q9550 and 4GB ram. It's even running in PCIE 2.0 instead of 3.0 You might be thinking I'm crazy pairing this newer graphics card with old CPU RAM and MOBO but truth is, all these older components can still keep up with todays games. I bought this card mainly to play Battlefield 4. With my current setup using and older quad core and ddr2 and all that other "old" stuff, I can still run BF4 on max (thats "Ultra" settings in the game @50 FPS) at 1080 resolution. Not bad if you ask me. I took an old Core 2 Duo machine and upgraded everything, paired it with this card and now I'm good to go for another few years. All for much less than a new setup. This card is basically right on par, probably a little better than the new GTX 950 and thats going to be $150. So if you can pick up one of these for under $100 like I did, its a no brainer...Read full review
This card performs as well as a 750 ti or a RX 460. Managed to play GTAV at 90 FPS. I used this in a budget build for my friend and he couldn't be happier. It played games at a constant 60 FPS with medium settings. This was an amazing buy
