Great for beginners and small jobs
Easy setup, easy to use, very portable. Not much power for continuous duty, must use light rods. Works as advertised but not well at limits of use spectrum. When using with clean new perfect materials for light duty items, perfect. Heavier materials at upper limits not good with new materials and terrible with used materials (shop stuff leftovers). I would recommend for car body work light small jobs in a shop with good prep but not for farm or industrial work at job sites. This is a great item for someone new to welding who may have just finished vocational technical school welding and has the fundamentals down. I love this thing
Fantastic little welder. I am essentially a hobby welder but have done some work on mowers, etc..this machine makes using 120v power a snap. It is lightweight and makes striking an arc easy!.
