How to prevent your DVDs from skipping when they heat up
This is the only type of label to use for CDs and DVDs because they are NOT paper. When a CD plays it warms up, may even become hot. If an ordinary paper label is used the disk will warp and cease to function. The disc and the paper expand at different rates with the application of heat. I spent a whole day searching every office supply store and their "experts" kept telling me "They are the same as CD labels". Of course they did not supply the DVD labels. Yes they are the same size, but made of different material that will not destroy the DVD player. It says it right on the product. Every important point. I used it for Xmas on DVDs that had been dubbed from old VHS family weddings and using the Avery download design process. They were a big hit and looked soooo professional.
