Carpenter Pencil. Rugged spring steel pocket-clip. Automatic lock-in-place slider button design. Handle made from real wood for that real wood feel and comfort.
I bought several of them for Chistmas gifts, and have been using it around the shop too, but it is just a little too flimsy. I liked the idea of not having to sharpen it, but you really can't bear down on it like you can with a regular pencil. I had the tip out too far once now and broke off a 1/2 piece. If you wanted to write with it, the metal slide area is just too loose. I would be like writing with a mechanical pencil that has slop at the tip. For $7 I don't think I will be buying more of them. That is my take on it. I have construction friends I gave them to, so we will see what they think.
Not worth the money. You have to pay attention to it or you will go through whole lead in an hour if busy. I move fast and it slows me down if I have check it every time.. I bought 3 and went through 2 in a day and had to order expensive lead.. back to regular pencils..
