If you ever work in an industrial or commercial setting or even upstream of the mains in residential, you need CAT IV equipment, and this thing is indestructible. This meter will take an absolute beating and keep on giving you reliable readings, keeping you safe. I wouldn't trust my life to anything less. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a delicate little electronics multimeter, but that's not what this is for. Get a Klein for that stuff. To read the fundamentals and get it right every time you want a Fluke T5. Especially when it's getting banged around in your tool bag or gang box.

This is the easiest meter to use. No voltage ranges to set it to, AC or DC it tells you without having to change to different settings. Amps and ohms are the same, totally automatic, good up to a 1000 volts, great meter compact size, and a good value. I would recommend this to any electrician or anyone that has a need for a multi meter.
