Factory Ford fitment for easy installation. Appear well-constructed. Factory packaging was very good and they arrived safely. Another reviewer is correct, they're easy to mistakenly wire out-of-phase so pay close attention to polarity indicated on the speaker terminals before finalizing your wiring. Unfortunately, in direct A/B comparisons these Rockfords can't hold a candle to coaxial Infinity's (yes, they were more costly) of the same physical size. Far less efficient and nowhere near the low-end bass extension. Smooth midrange and highs though, and for the price they're still a reasonable value. Fortunately, in this instance they're only being utilized for rear fill, so they are satisfactory. Wish we could award them 5-stars, but they're just not worthy.

I own a early-90's Ford F-150, and finding exact 6x8 speakers can be a chore. 5x7's leave a gap, and sound crappy. I decided to give these a try on a recommendation from a local audio shop. For the money, these are an excellent replacement for the crappy Ford factory speakers. I can crank my volume to the max, and the distortion is negligible. The mounting depth was slightly shallower than the factory speaker, and left plenty of room for my sound mat. If you are looking for a good replacement that won't break the bank, then these fit the bill.
Excellent stock speaker replacement, two thumbs up! There is one really odd thing I want to mention about these speakers. The NEGATIVE terminal on these speakers is the smaller terminal and has a red wire connecting the terminal to the speaker. The BLACK terminal is the larger terminal, and has a BLACK wire going from the terminal to the capacitor then off to the speakers. SURE ENOUGH it's backwards on this speaker from the convention I'm used to. If you sauter your connections and you've already put the door of your car back together this can lead to a big inconvenience. So don't learn like I did and read the instructions. Sound great, I'm impressed and these are being pushed by a Kenwood aftermarket head unit.
Direct replacement, easy drop in. Do be mindful of the polarity of the terminals as others have mentioned. They sound surprisingly good. Not the heaviest bass, but that's not what they're intended for anyway. The mids and highs are great. I've always been skeptical of 6x8s or any speaker that isn't a circle. But these are well worth it and I would recommend them if you own a Ford and want to replace your stock speakers, or even your current aftermarket speakers. Two thumbs up.

Just installed and running off alpine bt265 amplified radio. Basically the speakers are high end stock replacement speakers. The speakers sound many times better than stock. Don't get me wrong these are not old school $3-500 MB Quart or Boston pros, but they would do well with a high pass filter on a multi channel amp with 30-50 watts rms cut at 120-140hz. For what I paid for them they are a bargain and for drop in stock replacement speakers the installation was simple. Thank you.
